I wanted to upgrade my home near Lochinver with a modern, reliable heating system. I knew I wanted to move away from fossil fuels, but I was unfamiliar with the alternative technologies and how to choose the best option. So I contacted David at Mr. Insulation in Dingwall. We contacted him in November 2021, and he managed to arrange for us a new Daikin Air Source Heat Pump with new radiators, installed by experts, by 20th January.

We contacted David least year to help us navigate claiming back money through the Renewable Heating Incentive, as the process was so complicated!

We found this so helpful that we got him out again to do a home MOT for us, to see where we could save energy and money. After a thorough review, we were given some clear and simple advice on how best to run our heating system, as well as recommendations for improvements. It turns out that we can get Government support for some of these so are now on the case to get this organised. Great service.

David really knows what he's doing. Excellent effort and organising my conversion from electric heating to Air Source Central heating. Within 2 weeks of engineer assessment, installation commenced. A real saving and reduction in energy bills in progress.

David very helpfully recommended that we replace our storage heaters with a new air source heat pump heating system. His enthusiasm persuaded us to go for it and David even helped us find an installer. The system has now been operational for a year and we have reduced our electricity useage by 38%.
